Since founder Crill Higgins led the parade to their brand new school in 1966, the Cleveland High School Band has established a rich tradition of excellence. In addition to three appearances on the stage of the Tennessee Music Education Association State Convention, the Band has consistently scored Superior ratings at regional concert festival and made numerous appearances at the TMEA State Concert Festival.

The Marching Band has also enjoyed great success including being a Bands of America Grand Nationals Semi-Finalist, two-time BOA Regional Class Champion, 13-time BOA Regional Finalist, and the 2013 USBands Class 6A National Championships Silver Medalist. The Band has also participated in parades all over the country, including the Cherry Blossom Festival in Washington, DC, the Orange Bowl, the Philadelphia Thanksgiving, the Miracle Mile in Chicago, and the Cotton Bowl.
